Darkhawk is made of awesome and him sitting on a chair talking about staring into the abyss is not interesting in and of itself - I want to see Darkhawk caving in some poor sucker's face with his murder-fists. It's one of my little foibles. Deliberately didn't spend any time on the characters here, as I wanted it all scratchy because it's Julie's recollection of how bored she was, but I'm totally doing a Darkhawk pic at some point. Lapsed more fully into cartoony art here. It's a bit jarring, and I should have done it from the start - otherwise, apart from the thought-balloon bit not blending well, I thought this was one of the least horrendous pages.
There is the odd fight in Loners - it just never tends to resolve anything. Someone got hit in the head with a car, but that was like the last issue or something.
